Women on Mission

Women on Mission is a group of women who meet once a month for Bible study, prayer and ministry.   Our purpose is to study the Bible, pray for missionaries all around the world, study about the work missionaries are doing and give to the financial support of missionaries.   We also promote missions and special mission offerings to the church body encouraging them to pray, give and go.   Ministries we support and promote are:

Janie Chapman Offering for State (SC) Missions
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for IMB
Prison Packets at Christmas
Shoe Box Ministry

Lap Blanket Ministry

The Lap Blanket Ministry is made up of a group of volunteers who meet the third Tuesday of each month to hand make blankets to be given out to shut-ins, those in the hospital or recovering at home, the homeless, those with other special needs and wherever a need arises.   A special label is stitched on to each blanket with the church name and a message of love.   Each blanket is prayed over by the volunteers and made available for distribution by church members.
